How can you help your child retain all the good things they learned from Speech IN SUUMMMMMER?!
We've set up this blog, which we've compiled from online resources, to help you help your kid.
There are plenty of games and activities to help your kid have fun while practicing their good speech sounds this Summer.
Please feel free to browse around.

This week we have been working on using a pointing finger to point to common/household objects (for example: "point to the yellow duck"). At home you can have your child point to household objects or to objects in books and practice using a good pointing finger. Label what they point to and help them say the word if possible.
This week in TLC we worked on our /k/, /p/, and /t/ sounds at the end of words (duck, sheep, boat...). We read the book Duck in a Truck and played a game using items/activities that had our target sound in them.
One idea to practice at home would be to have your child point (with a pointing finger) to objects around the house or in a book that have these sounds at the end of a word. Model the word for your child and have them say it back to you.
